PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
FEBRUARY 2011
Greetings Fellow Rotarians!!!
Although the first month of 2011 spawned a number of activities like the Intercity Meeting on January 8, 2011 wherein each club of D3770 make a self-assessment of their accomplishment versus the overall District target for each club, thereby enabling the individual club to do some re-planning for the remaining months to come. Another project that we unveiled is the Rotary Bell Marker in front of Planters Bank which shall serve as a landmark to enhance the public awareness on our fellowship.
January was basically focused to the activities in relation to the Korean Youth Exchange who arrived in January 2 and stayed for twenty days in the community. Through the generosity of the Hosts Parents and cooperation with R. C. Mutya Ng Santa Maria, we were able to deliver the very essence of the current theme of the Rotary International “ BUILDING COMMUNITIES; BRIDGING CONTINENTS”. Years from now, the seeds that we sow today is expected to bear fruits to support the future Rotary objectives and goals.
